i faved this one, but to me there is no connection between the blind man and the bride, just 2 entirely separate realities. i like that kind of juxtaposition in a photo, it puts me into a dream-like kinda feeling.
Thank you. I understand what you mean. The connection is made by my description of what was going on; if I had omitted that, it could be difficult to get a grip of the situation, if not nearly impossible. (:
I actually have a personal distaste when a photo's meaning is harshly enforced upon the viewer (street genre), specially when the title has nothing to do with the captured situation, but sometimes we do need a little help, even as an attempt to save the photo on the behalf of the photographer. Thanks Mark, glad you like it!
and like most of us guys.. all she had to say was it was white..but she's probably describing the bodice, and the material...and the details.. and he's already thinking about what to have for lunch hehehe
This photo is wonderful, my favourite in the series. The just married couple next to this old couple with a blind man...it makes me think at the promises people make when they get married, about sharing the good and the bad parts of life together What a surprise to see you uploading here! A beautiful one.
