I don't enjoy imposing an interpretation upon a Street photo, in fact I dislike it a lot when I see it. So this is what I saw and hopefully it will provide a context into this ugly photo.
I was sitting in a car, heard this couple (probably in their 60s) talking; they exchanged some bitter words, then he went away.
Not aggressive words, just sad mumblings, enough for me to realize I've seen this so many times before. Enough for me to figure out she probably wanted him to go home with her and not to the café he entered a few seconds later.
People deserve happiness. People deserve a better modus vivendi.
